A beautiful family run business. Very reasonably priced, great food and gorgeous views! The staff were so kind. We would definitely come back. They also had gorgeous handmade rings of which I bought two. Visiting here is definitely a core memory of my trip. Visit at sunset for the best views -it was very windy when we visited and the woman very kindly brought me a jacket to help keep me warm

This traditional restaurant in Gjirokastër was a real gem. The atmosphere was beautiful and felt truly familial – I immediately felt at home. Reola, the lovely young woman who served us, was incredibly friendly and helpful. She recommended some delicious traditional dishes and even suggested local places to visit in the area – which made our trip even more special. The gentleman and the lady at the restaurant were also very kind. They even offered us a refreshing treatment with water and a plate of fresh watermelon – such a thoughtful gesture! The setting was stunning and peaceful, and the hospitality was beyond amazing. Everyone was extremely welcoming and warm. I highly recommend this place if you want to experience authentic Albanian food and genuine kindness. Don’t miss it!

A lovely place run by people who cook with true passion. The elderly lady welcomed us warmly with an aperitif as a gift, which immediately made us feel at home. You can instantly sense that this is a unique and very personal, family-style experience. She was genuinely interested in our thoughts about the food. The waitress was very helpful, offering great advice about the dishes and also acting as a bridge between us and the old lady. On top of that, the view is stunning — a beautiful vista of the castle as you enjoy your meal. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and heartwarming dining experience.

We are blown away! The food is authentic, traditional and cozy. We enjoyed the food very much and the lima beans and the soup were especially amazing. The service was very friendly and the view is great. We also tried the ice cream, which tasted like chocolate fudge or toffee. We will definitely come back for more!

Where to begin!? We’ve been in Albania for two weeks and this was by far the BEST food we’ve had. The location is amazing, you can park the car right in front of the restaurant, the view is lovely, the staff was very very nice and it’s close to the castle and old town which is great. It’s cash only, no card payment. Ask the waitress for some recommendations cause she knows what she’s talking about. We had the mix + sausages and beans and everything was amazing! Prices were also good! Kids friendly and also great for bigger groups. One of the staff members also helped us with our car cause it was parked very close to another car, which was so nice of them. Thank you food the lovely experience!

I randomly found this family-owned spot and I’m so glad I did! The people were super kind and welcoming, the view was incredible and the food… wow. Everything was authentic, traditional, and absolutely delicious. You can really tell it’s made with love. Honestly, I’d go back to Gjirokastër just to eat there again. If you’re in town, don’t miss it

Best view of the castle and most friendly staff! We walked a bit further from tourist crowded ild bazaar streets but it was totally worth it! The family owned business, felt like coming to visit family than eating out. We even got binoculars for better observation of the castle. And gratis fruits to refresh us before heading to ali Pasha bridge. Absolutely recommended!

A small restaurant in a peaceful setting, tucked away from the usual tourist crowds – a true hidden gem. The view of the castle is beautiful and relaxing. Warm and welcoming hosts create a pleasant atmosphere. The food is consistently delicious and made with care, especially the stew – highly recommended!
